India is beset with several separtist independence movements. While its own house is at fire, it continues to put its neighbors on fire by supporting and fomenting ethnic linguistic hatreds and divisions.

Several articles in this page reveal the extent of possible division of India due to poverty and neglect from the central government.

Nagaland Independence Movement

From the Read Article

This page contains a collection of articles on independence movements (including armed struggle) against Hindi-dominated Indian rule over minority nationalities in Assam (Assom), Manipur, Nagaland, Punjab (Khalistan), Tamil Nadu, etc. Often derisively brushed off as separatist movements by Indian government.

Tamil Nadu had one of the earliest independence movements (separatist or secessionist, freedom or liberation movements) in India dating back to 1939. Aspirations of independence and some underground movements exist even today. Several articles tracing the history, rationale and current activities are listed at Tamil Nadu Independence Movement
